Assembly steps
Base of the frame
Unscrew the rubber feet from your TC5 or TC7 heat press.
Remove the original base plate from the heat press by loosening the black hand screws on the underside. You can remove the plate by lifting it up.
Place the frame base on the left and right of the flange and screw it in place as shown.
Finally, fit the rubber feet with the new fixing points as shown below.
Slide element
Place the slide element on the pre-assembled frame - the pins on the slide element must fit into the corresponding slots on the left and right side of the frame base.
Slide the hammerhead nuts into the slots on the side as shown in the drawing and tighten them from below with the appropriate screws.
Mounting the handle bar
Use the two M6x12 screws to attach the supplied handle bar from below in the centre of the gliding element.
Mounting the beam adapter
Loosen the screws on the two aluminium blocks below the base plate (TC5 only).
Mount the beam adapter using the M6x12 (TC5) or M8x16 (TC7) screws supplied.
Use of the Secabo quick-change system
Insert the base plate with the beam adapter on one side of the carriage.
On the other side there is space for another large base plate or some smaller interchangeable base plates from Secabo.
You can insert the plates by turning the front handwheel until the small rail on the top moves backwards. Now place a replaceable base plate in between and tighten the screw until the plate is firmly in place.
Use the handle bar to slide to either the left or right end position before starting the transfer process.
If you use a single small plate, always mount it in the centre of the rail to ensure that the heating plate is loaded evenly.
