Please read these operating instructions carefully so that you can start production with your appliance without any problems. Precautionary measures
Please read these instructions and precautions carefully before using the cross laser system for the first time and keep them in a safe place! Please observe the following operating and safety instructions so that you can enjoy your modular Secabo cross laser system for a long time.
Do not make any changes to the cross laser system yourself.
Ensure that the cross laser system does not come into contact with liquids.
Ensure that the socket outlet used is earthed. Please note that the cross laser system may only be operated from a socket outlet that is protected by an RCD.
Only use the mains adapter included in the scope of delivery.
Disconnect the cross laser system from the power supply when not in use.
Always operate the cross laser system out of the reach of children and never leave the switched-on cross laser system unattended.
Ensure that the cross laser system is only used in dry rooms.
Do not install and adjust the cross laser system when the heat press is switched on and hot. CAUTION: Risk of burns!
Removing the safety-relevant warning signs is not permitted!
Operating and safety instructions for the operation of cross lasers for heat presses (laser class 2)
The cross lasers for heat presses correspond to a class 2 laser (in accordance with DIN EN 6 0825-1:2014)
The precautionary measures of the accident prevention regulation (BGV B2) must be observed.
These include:
Do not look into the beam or direct reflections, not even with optical instruments.
Clearly mark the laser area with warning signs at all access points.
The laser beam should be directed clearly below or above, but not at eye level.
The operator of the laser device is responsible for compliance with the safety measures. Among other things, he must ensure that the laser device is assigned to a laser class and labelled accordingly. The operator is also responsible for compliance with the special safety requirements for the operation of the various laser types.
Further information
Solid-state laser modules (DPSS) contain high-quality crystals. These are particularly sensitive to shocks. Shock loads in excess of 50G lead to a loss of performance or destruction of the module.
No liability or guarantee is assumed for modifications to the module, such as changes to the electronics, manipulation of the controllers, the housing or the optics (in particular power increase). Tampering with laser modules can result in the output power and wavelength deviating significantly from the guaranteed values. In this case, the specified laser radiation may be exceeded many times over and invisible infrared laser radiation may be emitted.

Intended use
| The Secabo cross laser system is used to make the positioning of transfer objects easier and more precise and to ensure consistent results over longer runs. You can easily focus the laser beam. Once you have placed the laser in the joint and aligned it with the surface of the textile, you can switch it on and position it on the textile first. |
| The knurled screws on the joints are used to fasten and adjust the laser; these must not be tightened with tools or other aids, but only by hand. You can use the adjustable lens on the head of the laser to focus the beam as required. Then tighten the knurled screws on the joint by hand. |
| The height is also adjusted via this joint. With the single cross laser, this is done very simply by loosening the knurled screw on the side of the rod until the desired height is reached and then tightening it hand-tight. |
| With the double cross laser, the height is adjusted using the fixed joint, which serves as an intermediate link between the vertical and horizontal rods. Do not tighten the knurled screw on the vertical rod until the desired height has been reached. |
| This flexible adjustment can also be found on the Secabo storage tray. With the star grip screw, you can adjust the height easily and conveniently and swivel and move the storage tray individually in your work area. Please note that no more than 2 kilograms should be placed on the tray! Hand-tighten the star knob screw on the quick-change system before use. |
