Assembly steps
Installation for Smart and Lite Presse
First, unscrew the base plate from the press plinth by reaching into the bottom front of the transfer press plinth and loosening the black hand screws. The base plate can now be lifted off.
Now insert the lower mounting plate with the corresponding screws under the plinth so that the screws look up through the holes in the plinth.
Now place the quick changer base on the base of the heat press so that the black hand screws are pointing forwards and the hooks for removing the exchangeable plates are pointing upwards.
You can now tighten the three screws from below. Ensure that the quick coupler is correctly aligned.
The quick coupler is now fully assembled.
The Smart and Lite presses also offer the option of a Slim quick-change system with just a single mounting point for the interchangeable plate; this is fitted in the same way as described above.
Assembly - TC5 and TC7
Detach the base plate from the TC5 or TC7 by loosening the black hand screws underneath the frame of the heat press. The original base plate can now be removed by lifting it upwards.
Place the lower mounting plate under the frame with the corresponding screws until the screws point upwards through the holes.
Place the quick-change system base on the frame of the heat press - all black hand screws point forwards and the hooks for holding the exchangeable base plates point upwards.
Now tighten the three screws from below. Ensure that the quick-change system is correctly aligned.
The quick-change system is now ready for use.
Assembly - TPD7
Carefully tilt the machine backwards and remove the base plate from the TPD7 by loosening the 4 screws on the base plate. Ensure that the press is secured in the tilted position. The original base plate can now be removed by lifting it upwards.
Place the adapter plate in the appropriate position and insert the matching screws through the holes.
Place the quick-change system base on the frame of the heat press - all black hand screws point forwards and the hooks for holding the exchangeable base plates point upwards.
If you have two quick-change systems for your TPD7, repeat the assembly on the other side in the same way.
Place the TPD7 hot press back on the four rubber feet - the press is now ready for the next transfers.
Assembly TPD7 PREMIUM
Loosen the fixing screws of the base plate until you can push it back and remove it from above.
Remove the base plate of the TPD7 PREMIUM and loosen the pre-assembled adapter plate.
Mount the beam adapter underneath the base part of the quick-change system using the enclosed screws
Mount the quick-change system on the base of the TPD7 PREMIUM and tighten all screws.
If you have two quick-change systems for your TPD7 PREMIUM, repeat the assembly on the other side of the press in the same way.
The quick-change system is now ready for use.
Assembly - TS7
Detach the base plate from the TS7 by loosening the black hand screws under the base plate of the heat press. The original base plate can now be removed by lifting it upwards.
Loosen the threaded screws on the adjustment ring below the base plate.
Place the quick-change system base in the appropriate position and insert the corresponding screws through the holes from above. Tighten the screws and washers.
Mounting the beam adapter
Loosen the screws on the two aluminium blocks below the base plate (TC5 only).
Mount the beam adapter using the M6x12 (TC5) or M8x16 (TC7) screws supplied.
Use of the Secabo quick-change system
Attach the base plate with the beam adapter to the rail in the centre of your quick-change system.
Smaller interchangeable base plates can alternatively be used on all three rails.
To insert the plates, turn the front handwheel until the small rail on the top moves backwards. Now place a replaceable base plate in between and tighten the screw until the plate is firmly in place.
If you are using a single small plate, always mount it on the centre rail to ensure that the heating plate is loaded evenly.
